Painted on a Loxley Gold deep edge 40 inch by 30 inch canvas.

Mark mapped the painting out using acrylic paint then used a limited palette of Williamsburg handmade oil paints. Only using Sennelier green for oil thinner and a small amount of linseed oil.

The strength of the pigment was evident from the start only using a very small amount of paint Mark managed to cover a large area. The richness of colour and the ability to glaze is unsurpassed any other paints Mark has used. Mark found that he used a lot less quantity of paint to cover similar area depending on how you paint it may be not that much more expensive to use this quality of paint but the end result will be stunning.
